Crossing the Threshold

The Ceremony

This journey starts at the moment of our first contact, the moment we commit to walk this path together. There lie the first seeds of this creation.

Residing at the core is the Ceremony itself. The Ceremony of creating a Prayer on your skin, a Talisman on your body.

To open this portal we are working with different elements. Always being soft and fluid like the waters to embrace fully whatever comes up.

At the core we are working with ceremonial Cacao, aromatic plants, meditation, sacred sound, breath and shamanic practices.

Weaving it all together into your own individual tapestry to serve your intentions, and allowing them to unfold in full potential.

We are working with three main aspects that can be more or less present for you in the session:

Energy:

We always work on an energetic level as, by its very nature, this work goes to the deepest layers of your being.

We are literally creating holes in your skin. Through this process and through the experience of pain (if present), a lot of energy can be released. This is a beautiful opportunity to let go of anything that no longer serves you in this moment. It may be fears, worries, doubts or old belief systems. Through the rhythm of your breath, you can let go without judgement, allowing everything that comes up to just move through you.

At the same time, we bring ink under your skin to reside there permanently. Calling your intentions in to be settled deeply, anchored into the very core of your being, grounded in the center of your heart.

So this mark on your body holds this energy, this memory, to walk with you through the valleys and mountain peaks of life.

Pain:

Working with pain can be very prominent in the tattoosession. And, sometimes, there is almost no pain at all and you might instead experience states and sensations of bliss.

Whatever your journey is, trust that you always receive and encounter exactly what you need.

It may be a firm teaching through pain which allows you to make a great offering of your energy to empower your intentions.

Or it may be a gentle hug to remind you of the ease and softness life holds. Bringing your intentions gently like the blooming of a flower.

If you experience pain it is an invitation to dive really deep. We have various ways of working with it and I will be there to support you.

Pain holds many transcendental teachings for us. The key is allowing those to come forth, embracing the experience of pain fully in all its shades.

This is about making peace with discomfort. In the experience of receiving this mark but also in life itself. To not go into resistance but rather into soft surrender to what is.

Remember to breathe and to bring your energy back down to the earth, releasing any tension you feel and getting softer with every poke.

One of the greatest natural painkillers is your voice. Giving the pain a sound or singing with the intentional music that is playing in the background, and curated to support you in this journey.

Dont worry about sounding good. It is not important.

This is your space, your experience and all that matters is your journey and your encounter and relationship with the pain.

All of you is welcome in this space. Feel invited to connect with your essence and let yourself be guided by your own spirit.

Allow the pain to teach and empower you. Invite it to open the doors for deeper understanding of yourself, for profound states of being and transcendental experiences of consciousness.

Emotions:

We are honoring and inviting the sacred waters in this space. This journey can be accompanied by many emotions.

Know they are all welcome. Whatever moves through you has its space here.

I am very able and willing to hold all your emotions and you are welcome to express the full range of your being.

It may be pain, joy, sorrow, anger or pleasure. Everything has its place.

This is an invitation to allow it all. To embrace all parts of yourself and let them be seen. We keep everything in motion. All the energy is welcomed to move through you freely.

A tattoo is like a rebirth.

You give birth to a new version of yourself and you let go of something old. Honor that in honoring yourself. Wherever you are.
